Located 20 miles from Beaufort, South Carolina, Fripp Island is a gated, private island, comprised of about six and a half square miles. The views from Fripp Island are unlike others in the Sea Islands, as Fripp is the most seaward of them all.
Take advantage of the many amenities that Fripp Island has to offer. Fripp Island features a multitude of food and beverage options for your enjoyment. With two championship golf courses, five pool complexes, 6 pickleball courts, 8 tennis courts, and three-and-a-half miles of uninterrupted beach, Fripp Island is an unspoiled treasure. Reviews
We just left a great week at Fripp! The kitchen was spacious and upgraded, which was nice. The beach was just steps away, which was super convenient! A few ‘just so you know’ items… bathrooms upstairs really need remodeled as the age shows with mold or other things. The living room furniture could also really be updated. The couch had noticeable stains and you could tell the cushions had seen better days! We swept the floors 3+ times a day, and still could not keep the floors clean. A good rug or two would help out to keep the sand trekked in at bay. Also, we had a one year old with us and the stairwell to downstairs both inside and outside is WIDE and a regular baby gate does not fit! Overall this was a great trip visiting the beautiful island of Fripp!
