Membership Information for Our Fripp Island Beach Club

If you own property on Fripp Island, we invite you to join the Fripp Island Club! We offer four different types of memberships: Full, Social, Dining, and Inactive.

If you aren’t a property owner on the island, then we invite you to come check out our vacation rentals so that you can personally experience what makes Fripp the finest of all South Carolina Resorts. Maybe you will decide Fripp Island is the place for you!

Full Membership (Family or Single)

Enjoy all the island’s amenities to the fullest.

Golf, Tennis, Marina, Swimming Pools, Dining, Fitness Center
May participate in Fripp Island Resort Rental Program.
Complimentary greens fees (cart fee not included-$20.00 per person plus tax)
Complimentary Handicap calculation
Complimentary court time at the Racquet Club (accompanied guests pay guest rate)
May purchase Club Guest Cards for guests staying in your home
Annual complimentary Family Club Guest Cards
Unlimited accompanied guests

Complimentary Rental Club Guest Cards when renting your home through Fripp Island Resort

Social Membership (Family or Single)

For those who want to join the Club’s social life, this membership entitles you access to all island amenities.

Annual complimentary Family Club Guest Cards
14 days of unlimited unaccompanied guests (through the purchase of Club Guest Cards)
14 complimentary House Guest Cards
10% off meals at restaurants (excluding Food Court)
Handicap calculation – $30.00 per person, annually
10% discount on court time at the Racquet Club (accompanied guests pay guest rate)

Family Club Guest Cards are available to Full and Social members only. Married children, children over the age of 25, grandchildren, parents, and grandparents are considered guests of the member. These extended lineal family members will receive Family Club Guest Cards at no cost. Extended lineal family members do not have membership privileges. Each guest 13 and older is required to have a Club Guest Card unless accompanied by a member. Family members with Club Guest Cards may not have guests and will pay either accompanied or unaccompanied guest rates at the Club’s facilities.

Dining Membership

As a member in this category, you will only have access to some of the island’s dining facilities.

Dining members may have accompanied guests only

Inactive Membership

Those eligible for Inactive membership include owners of undeveloped lots or individuals who have sold their property but plan to buy a new lot or home within ONE year. Use of the amenities is limited to 14 days per year. Inactive members may NOT have unaccompanied guests.

The membership categories listed above are available to Fripp Island property owners and certain individuals approved by the Fripp Island Club. Club membership is required for anyone, including property owners, to access Club facilities. Property owners who are not members may only use Club facilities as guests of a Club member ONCE per year. Dining and Inactive members may not sponsor unaccompanied guests or obtain Club guest cards.
