Centrally located on the island – and just a few steps away from one of South Carolina’s beautiful beaches – the Racquet Club has eight Fast-Dry clay courts and six permanent pickleball courts. We provide a full schedule of seasonal activities and round-robin tournaments. From tennis to pickleball, you're sure to have a great time!
The Racquet Club staff invites you to join all the Racquet Club fun during your stay. In addition to scheduled clinics, the Racquet Club staff offers private and semi-private lessons. All of our programs provide an opportunity to have plenty of fun AND improve your tennis game!

A Guide to the Racquet Club Facilities and Activities
Court Fees Single/Doubles (per hour) $26.00
Court time is complimentary for Full members; court time is discounted by 20% for Social, Inactive, and Patron members. Fripp Island Resort rental guests also receive a 20% discount on court fees.
Here at Fripp Island Resort Racquet Club, we offer 6 permanent pickleball courts for play along with lessons, clinics and round robins during the week. Our pickleball pro provides a variety of clinics and round robins, tailored to all skill levels.
Starting May 28th the advanced round robin will be from 8-9:30 and the intermediate will be from 9:30-11.
Switch, mix, mingle, and play with different partners. This round-robin is organized by our staff and designed for all levels of men and women. Mixed-Up Doubles are:
- Held on Mondnays and Wednesdays from 9-11am (offered Memorial Day through Labor Day)
- $15 per person

Whether you’re learning tennis basics or advancing your skills, our teaching professionals are here to help.
- Stroke of the Day
One of our most popular instructional programs for adults (Ages 17 and up). Professional instructors select a variety of demanding drills for players seeking to improve specific areas of their game. Check the weekly calendar for each days selected stroke. Come join us from 9-10am Wednesdays and Fridays. The fee is $26 per person. - Daily Drills
Another popular program that features a combination of stroke production and match play drills (Ages 17 and up). Come join us from 10-11am Wednesdays and Fridays. The fee is $26 per person. - Saturday Morning Adult Clinic
This is our weekend special for all levels of participants and is designed to combine the various areas of tennis covered during our weekly clinics. Play is structured around the skill levels of the players involved. The Saturday Morning clinic is from 9-10:30am, and the fee is $39 per person.
- Hot Shots
This clinic is designed for all levels of children Ages 4-6. During this half- hour clinic our staff briefly works on the basics. Afterwards, the children will have fun playing games designed to improve hand/eye coordination. The Hot Shots Clinic meets Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30-9am, and the fee is $13 per child. Offered seasonally. - Future Stars, Ages 7-9
This clinic is designed for all level of children in that age group. Our instructors will provide structure to your child’s ever-growing skills by providing both drills and games. Come join us Tuesday and Thursday from 9-10am, the fee is $26 per child. Offered seasonally. - Juniors, Ages 10-16
For one hour, our instructors will combine stroke production, drills and match play situations in the afternoon. Clinics run Tuesday and Thursday from 10-11 am, the fee is $26 per junior. Offered seasonally.

Please wear flat-soled shoes Tennis shoes and appropriate tennis attire. Running shoes, bathing suits, cutoffs, exercise apparel and/or tube tops are not permitted. Men must wear shirts at all times while they are on the court and are not allowed to wear tank tops.
