Activity Center & Programming
Nestled in the trees near the Cabana Club, our Activity Center sits at 8 Veranda Beach Drive. The Activity Center offers a variety of programming options and an up-close (and sometimes hands-on) look at some of the inhabitants of Fripp Island. Feel free to stop in and meet Rusty, our resident corn snake, or Savannah and Veranda, our alligators, or just to ask questions about the wildlife here!
While Fripp is one of the very most beloved of all South Carolina Resorts, there is way more to Fripp Island wildlife than most people realize - come learn how much more with our Nature Programs. Come discover the wildlife with the assistance of our Naturalist and staff. All programs will meet at the Activity Center and space may be limited for some programs so plan on calling ahead to secure your spot. Make sure you sign in before the programs start so we can get started as soon as possible.
Our recreation staff works hard all year long to provide fun activities for everyone in the family! From movie nights with the kids at Cabana Club to tie dye at the Creekhouse, everyone is sure to have a great time. Join us in the mornings for Fit on Fripp, our fitness series, or catch a cornhole tournament poolside! Check our schedule for the latest offerings or check out our list of Recreation Programs.
Want to get crafty? Looking for something to do on a rainy day or just something that's a little more low-key? Join us at the Creekhouse daily for arts and crafts. It's a great way to take home your very own homemade souvenir from your Fripp Trip!
During the summer (Memorial Day through Labor Day) our recreation staff offers Camp Fripp for kids aged 3-12. You can find more info and learn how to register or contact us for the most recent openings.
Our staff naturalists work with SCDNR, the Fripp Island Turtle Patrol, and the local Audubon Club to help preserve all of the truly amazing creatures that call Fripp home. We love to educate visitors about these wonderful creatures so drop by and let us tell you all about them and the efforts being used by many to conserve them for future generations.
