Audubon Designation

Fripp Island is one of six islands that make up the Beaufort Barrier Island Global Important Bird Area. This is an international designation from Audubon. The shorthand for this is an Audubon Global IBA. Fripp Island is a National Wildlife Federation Community Wildlife Habitat. This prestigious designation is held by fewer than 125 communities across our nation.

A Day in the Life of Camp Fripp

Kids love Fripp Island! Most of all they love Camp Fripp, a day camp at the resort just for them, with tons of activities. From learning about the giant loggerhead turtles to searching the beach for beautiful shells as they watch the dolphins swim nearby, Camp Fripp is an amazing adventure for every kid. There’s something magical about being here.
