"SUMMER OF 68" has been described as a classic Fripp Island Beach house. It has been hosting families for many years. The house is perfect for togetherness. The large open floor plan with everything space completes the family environment. The front and back decks wrap the whole length of the house, so you can step out and enjoy the beautiful Lowcountry weather from anywhere in the house. This 6 bedroom, 8 bed, and 3 full bath home will comfortably sleep up to 16 people. This house boasts a large well-maintained lawn for family fun!

It is located across the road from the beach on much-desired beach Access #2. Only a few homes on Marlin Drive are this convenient to beach Access #2.

A short stroll down the boardwalk will take you to paradise. Our North End of Fripp is very special with its undulating dunes, sea oats, a large variety of sea birds, and even ghost crabs at night. There is abundant beach, even at high tide, while low tide gives you the ability to explore the sand bars. When island photographers want to photograph Fripp's beach, they come to Access #2.

Features include 2 charcoal grills, a beach cart, a TV in the living room with Comcast Cable, high-speed WIFI, a fully equipped kitchen, and in-law suite on the first floor.

Entry Steps:
1. 2 beds and 1 bath are located on the 1st floor. Use your supplied code to gain access to the 1st floor.
2. Right inside the 1st-floor entry will be a key. Use this key to gain access to the 2nd floor.
3. The key will open the sliding glass door up the back porch into the dining room on the 2nd floor, where the rest of the 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, as well as the kitchen and living space, are located!

The View:
788 Marlin Drive has sliding glass doors around the whole property, designed to view the ocean from every room on the front. The back of the house has long-range views of the #8 hole of Ocean Point Golf Course and the two lagoons that flank the tee box.

A 4-seat golf cart is included with your rental (excluding monthly rentals). The best way to really appreciate Fripp's beauty is by golf cart.

These cards are required for access to all resort amenities including restaurants and bars, pools (opened year-round), golf, pickleball, tennis, fitness center, and more. For current hours of operation please visit our Hours of Operation page on the Resort site as some hours adjust seasonally. Guest cards offer exclusive access to discounted rates on golf and tennis.

Your unit is stocked with a starter set of essentials like toilet paper and paper towels. Springtide Market & Deli (located at the front of the island near the guard gate) stocks all essentials needed for a longer stay as well as groceries, grab-and-go, liquor, beach accessories, and much more!

Located 20 miles from Beaufort, South Carolina, Fripp Island is a gated, private island, comprised of about six and a half square miles. The views from Fripp Island are unlike others in the Sea Islands, as Fripp is the most seaward of them all.

Take advantage of the many amenities that Fripp Island has to offer. Fripp Island features a multitude of food and beverage options for your enjoyment. With two championship golf courses, five pool complexes, 6 pickleball courts, 8 tennis courts, and three-and-a-half miles of uninterrupted beach, Fripp Island is an unspoiled treasure.
