This activity offers one of our favorite ways of playing on a sultry summer day. Stepping into the dark, lit only by the neon that frames each hole of the greens, and feeling that rush of cool air plus a rush of excitement as you pick up your glow in the dark clubs and balls. The cost of playing mini golf is wonderfully inexpensive, $10 dollars for children, heroes, and seniors, and $12 for adults. If you want to play two rounds (and who doesn’t?) the cost doesn’t double, but it does cost $5 more. This may become your favorite way of playing miniature golf and because the place stays open until 10 PM every night, it can also be a great date night activity.
What is Splat?
Offering a way to release frustrations, much in the same way as axe throwing has begun to do, the splat room allows guests to release their inner artist as well, simply by tossing neon paint on a canvas. Don’t worry about where it lands, someone else cleans away the mess, and at the end of your splat experience, relish the thrill of taking home a souvenir of your adventures, the painting you created. This experience costs a little more, $30 (or $32 for fluorescent paint) for which guests will get to spend $25 minutes, tossing 4 colors, at the 11X14 canvases. The results are impressive and we know that your artwork will have its own magical appeal.
Staying Cool Close to Home
Your moments at the resort are going to be ones that you love and cherish and for kids of all ages seeking more air conditioned fun, all you need to do is head over to the arcade located in Beach Club in the former Guest Services Building. Offering claw machines, electronic basketball games, and a variety of arcade games, the arcade is open from 10AM until 10PM every day, helping keep guests entertained and cool during the hottest days of summer. The short walk back to your Fripp Island Resort rental will be appreciated, especially after night play, and as the moon shines down on your stroll through our island paradise, life will be sweet.
