Weather

Weather on Fripp Island in the winter is usually mid, with a few cold days here and there. You'll be happy to hear that temperatures range from the low 40s to the low 60s, so there is no need to bundle up and prepare for a winter wonderland! Here, winters tend to be green and comfortable. However, pack a light jacket, sweater, and pair of jeans for the evenings!

Activities

Golf

After spending too much time inside, getting out and moving is a great way to breathe fresh air and have fun! Get your group together and head out for a game of golf. Fripp Island features two designer golf courses for visitors to experience, Ocean Point and Ocean Creek. These courses are both challenging and full of natural beauty. Now, get out on the green!

The beach is a sanctuary no matter the time of year!

Events

Fripp Island offers many events to enjoy through the winter season. Starting in December and going through February, events are in full swing! From Christmas to Valentine's Day, there is plenty to look forward to. Our upcoming events are for February and March 2023, so start looking for your next Fripp Island experience.

A Little Something for History Buffs Too

If you enjoy a bit of learning with your relaxation, venture on over to Beaufort and its National Historic Landmark District.
