The Best Route From Atlanta to Fripp Island
The trip from Atlanta to Fripp Island by car is about five hours. There are two primary routes you can take through Georgia and South Carolina, but we recommend jumping on Interstate 20 before getting off on Highway 125 and taking that to the beautiful city of Beaufort. It’s an easy, no-sweat trip that only sees traffic on the check-in and check-out days closer to the Outer Banks.
Of course, Fripp Island is the perfect distance from Atlanta for an extended weekend getaway. Keep reading to discover some great vacation ideas for a weekend escape to the SC coast!
