Took a quick little getaway with my guy to Fripp Island with a huge nod to the amazing Susie McMahon, owner of Luxe Lowcountry Travel, for handling every detail so beautifully. We loved the 721 Sea Dragon house, and every bit of her advice was spot on! The weather was ideal and we relaxed and laughed and breathed… Highlights: sunrise and sunset, walking the beach, seeing a 12’ alligator named Sherman, wildlife, riding everywhere in a golf cart - loved that 15 mph breeze - the architecture and house names, visiting the charming town of Beaufort for sunset and dinner at Saltus, and our very comfortable, beautiful, well-appointed house for our stay. This is beach house living at its best: lovely decor, comfortable beds and seating, lots of space and a very well-appointed kitchen -- equipped like a home, and not a short term rental! Grabbing some groceries on the way in (also Susie's advice) made our morning coffee and brunch a lovely private ritual on the deck. We appreciated the extra pillows and blankets, the extras that were thoughtfully available. We rented the golf cart and bicycles and parked our car for the duration, except our drive to Beaufort. The bathrooms were both well-designed and enjoyable to use (love a great shower!) and the towels were fluffy and abundant. I could honestly go on and on, it really is that terrific! It was our first visit to Fripp Island and the inviting Sea Dragon house, but won’t be the last. Thank you, Susie!

LOVE. love. love this beach house. It is perfect for a family or a girl's weekend. This light, bright and beautiful home is a calm oasis at Fripp Island. The bedding is lovely and nicely accommodates its guests. The location is perfect and not to far from anything - steps to the beach, a golf cart ride away from the pool or the sunset. or an easy bike ride from just about anything. We did a few excursions while we were there; it was easy to get to our kayaking adventure and then grab lunch before heading back to the resort. The kitchen is well-appointed as is the dining room or the outdoor dining space to have a small family gathering or host a few friends for a meal and/or cocktails on the deck. My favorite part was probably having coffee in the mornings and watching the waves, clouds and plentiful playful deer that roam the island. Can't wait to go back this fall!

My gal pals and I spent 5 glorious days at this cute private house on Fripp just steps from the boardwalk to the beautiful beach. It was clean and comfortable and the back deck at night provided great views for stargazing as we were serenaded by the birds and frogs. Our host arranged a golf cart and bikes so that we could tour the island. There were a variety of beach chairs and gear available for us to take to the beach.. So relaxing being on beach time just hanging out with my friends. Hope we can make this a girls getaway every year.

This is a wonderful place to rest and rejuvenate. It is a short walk to the beach so we walked and biked the beach at low tide, played in the ocean at high tide, and stood on the beach looking at the stars in the evening! We hopped in the golf cart and went to the swimming pool, had cocktails at the bar, and spent more time on the beach! The house has everything we needed to make a delicious low country boil with garlic bread. It was a wonderful weekend with friends, sunshine, surf and sand, good food, and rejuvenation! I am looking forward to my next trip to the Sea Dragon on Fripp Island.

Sea dragon on Fripp Island is now one of my favorites! This home has everything you need and more! Everything is very clean, organized, it’s has a nice sized fridge and pantry for all your groceries, every appliance you’d have in your own home, even had a grill for our bbq’s and s’mores! The bathrooms are spa like, and the bedrooms are so pretty, the beds were comfier than my own bed!! This cottage is just so darn cute!! I love it! I loved waking up and having my coffee every morning on the deck and seeing all the deer! This cottage had enough space for us to have so many fun game nights (I have huge grown boys and athletes that are very competitive)that we could play every board game, card game, charades and even a spa day! You can do anything and everything you like here! But It’s also so cozy and welcoming especially after a long day of all the awesome and fun activities the island has to offer! This was our first time to Fripp Island and I was so shocked how there’s so many things to do here! My favorite was kayaking with the Dolphins and just riding our bikes around and seeing all the wildlife! Oh and the long walks on the beautiful beaches were so relaxing and distressing. I could go on and on about how great this place is but I’m telling you this place is a hidden gem and you’ll absolutely fall in love with it! This will be one of my regular vacay spots for now on and the “Sea dragon cottage” will be where I’m staying!!! It’s the perfect vacation location! The Michael Family

Well appointed beach home with beautiful interiors and finishes. Made for a comfortable and coastal cozy stay! Updated bathrooms and kitchen, immediate beach access, so much fun to explore the island by bike or golf cart, close proximity to everything. The wildlife was an added plus! We can’t wait to come back again to this low country luxury beach sanctuary! Highly recommend for families, girls or guys trips, couples, or like us, a mother/daughters getaway!! Absolutely loved our time at this beautiful beach home!

This hidden gem is more than a beach-house get-away -- it's a sanctuary. Peaceful and quiet, it's a short walk to the beach (by short, I mean less than 1 minute to the boardwalk!) and about 2 minutes to the bike paths. It's freshly furnished, with lots of space for relaxing and oh, the beds!! -- scrumptious high-end bedding that rivals the ritz. The kitchen is well-appointed with high-end appliances, all the essentials for cooking, and a nice wine fridge, because - well, we're at the beach. It's reliably wi-fi connected for those who need to work remotely and for catching news and movies when you're not watching waves, birds, dolphin, etc. This is far and away the most ideal spot for the 2 of us, and commodious enough that we plan to rent it again when our grown children can join us [2 king beds, 2 doubles, and 2 gorgeous spa-like bathrooms]. Honestly, I can't say enough about Sea Dragon. I can imagine living here full time!
