619 Dolphin is nestled on a corner lot just three houses away from the beach access, no need to worry about loading all of your beach gear (just a short walk).

The house is centered around one large room that is divided into 4 different spaces: the living room, the den area facing the TV, the dining area that can seat up to 6 people, and the Kitchen that has space to accommodate multiple cooks. Every door leads to a porch, the two back porches are covered and the top floor porch is uncovered for those who want to sunbathe without going to the beach.

Also on the this floor is the first of two bedroom suites and a half bath for guests. The second floor has a central hallway that leads to the second master bedroom suite and to the other 4 bedrooms (as stated each bedroom has a door leading to a porch). There is room enough for 5 cars, two in the driveway and three in the parking lot on the side.

A 4 seat golf cart is included with this rental (except monthly rentals), which can be picked up at Excursions in the Marina. Cruising the island on a golf cart is the pace at Fripp. It's a great way to take in all the wildlife Fripp is known for, or load up the beach chairs, toys and towels and set off to the beach or one of the many pools.

Guest cards are required to enjoy any of the amenities at Fripp and this house provides as many as 12 cards, with a value of up to $600. Guest cards also offer exclusive access to discounted rates on golf and tennis.

So Much Potential
3rd year looking at property, 2nd year staying. This house has so much potential....but not realized. Interior: Bar, but no bar stools; The house sleeps 12 but has a table for 6; There little furniture in the bedrooms other than a bed, e.g. NO Lamps (They get put in some tiny little bedside tables this year, last year I had to use my luggage). There are 4 full length porches with a total of 2 chairs. We took a list of maintenance items to the Property Management office (Ex: 3rd Master Bath shower head held up by a ty-wrap) back in April of 2019, but it must have been filed in the circular file because I've seen the same items unfixed for 2 years now. There is an elevator in the house and that is the reason we rented it (old couple and person with bad knees) but weren't informed until we moved in that it was 'off-limits'. 'For owner's only' On the plus side........it is a big house...6 bedrooms and convenient to the beach. As I said: So Much Potential and promise, so little delivery for the price. PS: Not the owners fault, more of how Fripp Island is changing, because to the proximity to a well traveled road, we experienced someone coming into the garage and helping themselves to a 12 pack of beer out of the downstairs fridge. When one bottle dropped out and broke, they ran leaving the fridge open and a mess on the floor. We were in the house enjoying game time in the early evening when it happened. As I said, more of a comment to the changing environment of Fripp than anything else.

Fripp Island Resort acts as a partner with homeowners to rent out our units, so we unfortunately do not have control over the furniture and owners keeping parts of their rentals for their use. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay though, and are glad you found it convenient to the beach!
