Raleigh to Fripp Island

How Should I Get to Fripp Island? Sunny Beach

Driving by car is the most popular way to get from Raleigh to Fripp Island. The trip takes about six to seven hours, and you can take a few different routes. The most direct way to get to Fripp Island is to take I-95 South straight through South Carolina. This route will take you through some of the state’s largest cities, including Florence and Myrtle Beach. If you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city, you can take Highway 17 through South Carolina’s Lowcountry. This route is a bit longer but offers a more scenic drive. Trains and buses also run from Raleigh to Savannah, but the trip takes a little longer.
