In an effort to keep Camp Fripp new, fun and exciting, we took some of our favorite daily programs where campers can expect programming, swimming, nature, craft, and game stations as well as offering two special weekly camps which include Camelot Farms Day (Mondays) and a Dolphin Cruise Day (Thursdays).

Reservations are highly recommended as we have a limited capacity for campers.

Kids ages 3-12 years old are eligible for Camp. *Camelot Day is ages 5-14

Note: All children must be bathroom independent (no pull-ups or diapers). If attending AM/PM camp, campers must be able to swim independently with no floaties or assistance.

**Due to Holiday Programming, No Camp Fripp on July 3 and 4.

  • PM Camp goes from 12 PM– 2 PM, campers aged 3 to 12 are welcome to join us for our afternoon sessions.

Monday Camelot Day (Ages 5-14) | $60 per child

Every Monday is Camelot Day! Camelot Day drop-off is at 8:00 - 8:30 AM, bus will leave at 8:30 AM Sharp.

Thursday Camp Fripp Dolphin Cruise | $80 per child

  • Every Thursday at Camp Fripp includes a Dolphin Cruise Day, but children are also welcome to join us for the dolphin cruise without attending the full week of camp. Cruise days run from 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM, the boat leaves at 9:00 AM. Pick-up and drop-off at Peg Legs at the Marina. (Snack is provided).

Additional Information - What to Bring, What to Wear, and more!

Advance registration by 5PM the day prior is required for Camp Fripp. If capacity allows, walk-ins may be accepted (no guarantee), but campers must bring their own lunch as we will not be able to provide lunch on short notice. If camp is filled to capacity, there will be a waitlist in the event of cancellations.

General Requirements

  • Children attending Camp Fripp MUST be bathroom independent. No pull-ups or diapers.
  • All campers who wish to stay at camp must be able to be potty dependent and if not comfortable in the water, guests MUST provide their own lifejacket, puddle jumper, or wearable flotation device to swim.

If camp staff find that your child is not bathroom independent and/or is not swimming independently and does not have a flotation device, then we will kindly ask that you pick them up before the day is over. No refund will be granted.

Camp Drop-Off (Excludes Dolphin Cruise Day)

  • Camp drop-off is from 8:30 AM to 8:45 AM at the Creekhouse.

Camp Pick-Up (Excludes Dolphin Cruise Day)

  • AM Campers must be picked up by 12 PM at the Creekhouse.
  • PM Campers must be picked up by 2 PM in the Garden.

What to Bring to Camp (Required)

  • Backpack
  • Full reusable water bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Bug spray
  • Pool Towel (PM Camp)
  • Any Required Medications (i.e., Epinephrine)

What to Wear to Camp

Camp takes place in an outdoor setting, so please be mindful of the weather in terms of dress:

  • Shoes that can get wet or dirty (due to water games and nature walks)
  • PM campers MUST wear their swimsuit to camp in the morning under their clothes. They will not have an opportunity to change into their swimsuit.

Lunch & Snack

  • Snack is provided for all campers at approx. 10:30 AM. Expect fruit, crackers, or chips.
  • Lunch is provided for campers staying for AM and PM camp.
  • Campers who have allergies, special requests, or diet restrictions need to bring their own lunch. All day campers who bring their own lunch will be $5 off camp fee.

CANCELATION NOTICE:

Cancelations must be made 24 hours in advance in order to receive a full refund. If a cancelation is made within 24 hours of the scheduled camp date, a 50% refund will be issued. No-shows will receive no refund.

If a dolphin cruise is canceled on behalf of the resort due to either inclement coastal weather or inability to meet the camp minimum of 10 kids, registrants will be notified the evening prior and will receive a full refund.

In the event that the Dolphin Cruise Day must be canceled, camp will be replaced with the standard AM/PM camp at the Creek House.

All Camp Registrants will receive a follow-up email prior to camp registration with an online waiver that is REQUIRED to be completed on behalf of your camper. This waiver must be completed BEFORE your camper participation.

Become A Fripp Island Junior Naturalist!

We have reimagined our Junior Naturalist Program to better fit all Fripp Island Guests!

This certification program is an a la carte of our regularly scheduled programs, just choose the ones you want to attend! Each level has different requirements that once completed earn a stamp! 8 stamps earn you your Junior Naturalist Certificate!

Complete the required number of programs form each category over any time period! Show proof of completed to a Nature Center staff member or ask your program guide to collect your stamps!

Collect all 8 stamps and present your card to a Naturalist to get your Junior Naturalist Certificate! You will receive an official certificate, Junior Naturalist pin, binoculars and photo of you holding your favorite animal ambassador (alligator excluded) on the wall!
